EHO Technologies is a spin-off from Riga Technical University, in Latvia. It began around scientific elaborations related to textiles and smart data processing and interpretation. Currently EHO is developing innovative ownership of technology to produce sensitive pressure and stretch sensitive textile sensor systems. Combining textile sensor data with data interpretation algorithms, EHO Solutions provides motion analysis which means end users. EHO develops algorithms for interpretation data, thus providing valuable information for monitoring the performance of horses and drivers. Teams that involve both - R & D capacity and business development skills, have worked in bootstrapping mode and achieved significant results - proof of concept, in-depth understanding of the needs of end users, regional networks, prototypes, and pilot customers.
Problem solution
EHO's initial product application is dedicated to horse riders. About 45% of horses experience problems with fit saddles. Poorly fitted saddles will cause horse pain and eventually return problems and even inequality. A saddle fitting on the other hand improves the performance of the rider and horse.
Saddle pad with EHO sensor technology provides the following benefits:
- save saddle changes - choose the right saddle for the horse;
- reduce the cost of injury to a horse - right saddle fit;
- improve driving performance - monitor the rider who unlocks the position, possible comparison.
Competitor analysis
Currently there are several solutions developed by other companies, there is still no sensor system that is suitable for everyday use to measure driving performance. Alternative products used by veterinarian specialists or artisan saddles for saddles are just right and expensive (starting at ~ 5000 EUR). The EHO system will do a lot more than one tenth of that price (~ 500 EUR). Existing systems (Pliance, Body Mapping test systems: Saddle, Medilogic, Seddletech Xsensor fittings, Pressure and Pressure Profile Systems) are not suitable for daily use to measure driving performance. Competitive products are only used for saddle installation, and products are too expensive for regular riders (~ 5000 EUR). They seem too expensive even for professional riders and veterinarians. Smart textiles are developed throughout the world, so at some point existing companies that produce conventional bearings can emerge with smarter products and create competition (or even create business opportunities and technology licenses from EHO).
Execution plan
The team has achieved significant progress, we have a demo. The thing that separates us from MVP is user-friendly software to interpret what saddle pad is "Indra". We have demo software that we use for testing though, but that is not enough. To overcome this challenge, we need to draw more technical competence to the team and make in-house software and signal processing outsourcing, IT algorithms and electronic skills.
Because we have made work prototypes, we know the level of complexity and are able to do this. Another challenge - first batch sales. To do so we plan to attract opinion leaders, use PR opportunities and communicate with the horse riding community. For this reason the task of the existing capacity of the team is sufficient.

How does it work?
Imagine EHO products along with applications offered on EHO eCommerce sites. Products will have prices in a conventional fiat EUR / USD / CNY, but at the same time the time will be denominated in an EHO token as an exchange unit, perhaps at a discount.
A buyer can pay with an EHO purchased during a crowdsale, connected to an exchange, where the token will be listed, bought, and used for payment or the buyer can still pay in fiat. How then will this purchase be converted into tokens?
By agents on behalf of the EHO or by the EHO team themselves - they can use a separate account for this purpose and channel all fiat that goes into exchanging to buy EHO tokens on the market currently assessing, whatever that is.
It makes no difference - if EHO will end up costing $ 100 then, say, a smart saddle mat sells for $ 2,500 Continue at EHO 25 and if paid in fiat then the EHO team will get 25 EHO tokens sending fiat to the exchange.

Roadmap
2016
The team met at Green Technology Incubator, Latvia. Various technology applications are assessed. The team decided to focus primarily on the riding industry because the market potential was huge and customers had unsolved problems.
2017
The team bootstraps the concept of business and creates laboratory level prototypes.
Many client interviews and prototype tests are carried out to understand the work the product must do for the customer.
The team invested 20k EUR and withdrew an additional 15 thousand EUR in the form of Riga Technical University for product development.
EHO made significant progress by making prototypes and attracting coverage by Latvian media, thus creating interest in the riding community.
The team participated in a very competitive business idea contest organized by the City of Riga and ranked # 1 among all inventions, so it also raised EUR 12k as a grant.
